  Great place, excellent views of the Georgia Strait. Wonderful outdoor deck patio during the summer.

  Lovely hotel, right on the river. Was great to sit out and have breakfast / a beer in the evening and watch the world go by. Plenty of wildlife to be seen right from the decking of the restaurant we saw Golden Eagle, Seals, Canada Geese among other birds.

  Can do Salmon fishing and Whale watching trips from the jetty in the hotel as-well.

  Stopped for drinks after mushroom picking. Wanted to sit in the lounge and have a cocktail. Had to sit in the pub instead. The honey garlic wings were over sauced and under crispy.

  Hotel was really nice, rooms were big, comfy beds, food in the restaurants for dinner and breakfast was nice.

  Nice property. Water taxi to Quadra island for guests. Good snacks at the pub with a view. Even though breakfast was supposed to be included, if you get up earlier than the buffet opened to go fishing through an outside company they would not provide a box breakfast. Only box breakfast was given if you booked fishing through them. Would have thought paying for the stay at the cabin they could have provided the inexpensive box breakfast. That left a bit of a bad impression.

  Amazing place to stay, especially in the summer. The rooms a little dated but the surrounding makes up for it. I highly recommend!!
