  As an addendum, I wish to repudiate my original review. When I went to take advantage of the "free additional treatments after the first 3" policy I was told I had waited too long and had to pay for additional treatments. I was baithe and switched. I feel silly that I took them at their word.

  I found my experience at Discovery Laser surprisingly pleasant. I was rather nervous upon entering however I was soon feeling at ease with the friendly professional reception staff. Whilst I waited in the discrete waiting area to the side of reception I sat in plush comfort watching a big screen TV highlighting all kinds of fabulous treatment options that I didn't even know existed, it didn't bother me that Dr Jacobs was running 10 minutes late for our scheduled complementary appointment.

  I would actively encourage anyone to visit and consult with the staff there and yes, of course it is a business, however I felt that Dr Jacobs and the staff were honest and genuine in there approach to helping me manage my well being and I will be returning soon and look forward to seeing the results predicted.

  I had both a productive and pleasing series of visit with the good folks at Discovery Laser. I found Terry to be very professional, personable and thorough. The treatments began on time and ended when she said they would. I appreciate that consideration as much as any other. I am reminded that I have to book an update appointment, which, after the 3 treatments I purchased is free-of-charge.

  As I expect Dr Jacobs was charming and very professional, I felt he listened to my concerns and gave me evidence based advice on how best to manage my skin condition and offered suggestions to prevent further damage which I really welcomed and I immediately acted on his advice.
