  The owners are an adorable German couple, very friendly and caring. The hotel has a really nice view of the ocean, and potential marine life like whales. Also it's pet friendly.

  This gotta be the best motel you could ever find in this price range, the views are incredible, and rooms are nice and big. The best part of this hotel is the manager/owner.

  The rooms were nice and clean. Very roomy...we had two queen beds on the second level with a kitchenette. The views were spectacular. The only drawback for me is that I like 100% cotton bedding but they had a cotton blend. I had some sheets so I was fine. I would definitely recommend. Very conveniently located too.

  FANTASTIC place to stay!! The beds are SO COMFORTABLE, the view SPECTACULAR and Peter (manager/owner) goes out of his way to assure your stay is PLEASANT! This is my second time staying here this month and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND The 'ABOVE TIDE MOTEL' to anyone wanting a hassle free, enjoyable experience!!

  We went to this model during Christmas Eve and we went to mt Washington to go night ski, when we came back, none of the restaurant were open, even McDonald and Tim Horton are closed. We couldn’t find any food and haven’t ate anything for 10 hours, we asked the manager if she could find us any restaurant that opens, but unfortunately they were all closed (it’s 11:00 pm). What surprised me is, she was so kind that she gave us some of her own food for free!!! It was so nice of her, because we were starved and exhausted.

  Dated but great place to sleep, patio was small but nice sitting out for morning coffee/ evening wine and watching cruise ships and water activities. Front desk guy was super friendly. Walking distance to wharf.
