Loved this little spot, highly recommend walking around the far side and really exploring the trails. There's some wonderful places you can find, with lovely view points across the river. You've got to take your camera when visiting, you'll find some great spots. Just be careful when you head out on the rocks

The park offers a great outdoor experience. It has well-designed trails easy to walk on. We can choose to have a stroll in the park or a long hike for a good exercise. There is this magical fall flowing with powerful gravity through rocks. Elk Falls Park is a great place for connecting with the nature and active meditation.

Parking lot, bathrooms & trails are all wheelchair friendly - though I suspect future contstruction will make it considerably more so. Sadly, the falls viewing area is not available to wheelchairs or anyone who has difficulty with steps.

All dog's are on leash. Please be prepared to pick up any mess your dog(s) make on this busy trail. There is poop bags available at the trail entrance from the parking lot. Found our dog's were very nervous about walking on the opened metal grating. They definitely don't like the ability to see the gorge beneath them.

Construction is still in progress - so some of the manmade blemishes on this lovely walk will eventually be gone. But... significant improvements to the parking lot, trails & viewing facilities at the falls have been made.

There are a multitude of steps and all are metal grated. Which is rather cool, especially when you are on the suspension bridge. The views are spectacular- well worth the effort.

Wonderful park but there appears to be construction going on. Ideally this will result in path improvements for mobility challenged visitors. Ample parking, and a short easy hike brings you to amazing views at the new suspension bridge and viewing platform.

Must warn those who have breathing or walking difficulties - this walk is downhill from the parking lot - consequently it's a long - somewhat steep climb back to your vehicle.

Good trail! Amazing lookouts and great views. We (group of 3 friends) visited the falls on a sunny winter evening (around 4.45pm). Lot of parking spots and publuc washrooms available in the parking lot. It was Not a great time to be here as it got dark around 5.15pm. Just us with another group of 3 in the area. It was quite and could hear the falls from a distance. Wear good shoes as the trail could get slippery. The hanging/suspension bridge offers a good view of falls/mountains around. We loved it! It was worth it.
